This is the fake cake I made for P to share with his class. Its a corningwear round dish filled with individually wrapped (and certified peanut free!) treats, covered with white paper and those are tooth-pick candles.
There was much confusion about this cake at school. Everyone thought it was 'real' which is a no-no. Parents cannot bring home-baked treats because of allergies and the fear of cross-contamination. At anyrate, it was a hit when everyone figured out it wasn't really a cake! And we only got 3 treats back out of the 46 I sent! I'd say that was success!
