Yesterday we went to the Maple Syrup festival. It was a gorgeous sunny day but bitterly cold. We bundled up the kids but by the end, Kathryn was complaining about her cold toes despite 2 pairs of socks!
We stayed about 2 hours. The kids especially love that we take a bus down from the parking lot! It was William's first time on a bus!
Riding the ponies. Patrick's actually winnied while he was riding it. Neat!
William hung out with Gramma. He was excellent the entire trip and enjoyed people watching.
Kathryn on her pony.
Another shot of the kids on their ponies accompanied by us.
Holding a baby rabbit. She thought that was pretty fantastic.
Attack of the 'killer' sheep!! Poor Patrick. The sheep was only after food - and P didn't have any.
Posing with a black bear!!
Feeding more sheep and llamas/alpaca's (not sure which).
I love the expression on this one. Click the picture to enlarge it.
"bacon bits" hehehe. Shaun didn't get a picture of the 'chicken nuggets' this year but they cute too.

that bear is NOT real...is it?? Wow, I love that you guys had a petting zoo. Our syrup festival is this coming Saturday and there are WAY too many people to even enjoy it.
Brrr, looks so cold! You guys are such a fun family.
xo
Char: no, the bear was stuffed. Looks nice and real though doesn't it?
Our festival gets very busy as well, but we get there really early so we're out before the big crowds get there. Usually we stay 10-12ish.
Rika: It was super cold! It was so cold we didn't want to take our mittens off to eat our snack!!
