June 5th we took the kids to the Southampton Museum. The theme was "sea monsters". Initially our kids were kind of frightened, but they got over it.

Patrick built a sea monster using magnetic/velcro pieces. As you can see, he's really proud of it!

We also got to search for bones in this 'sand' pit which was lots of fun.

A mammoth with a mammoth! At least my baby won't be as big or as hairy!!

Playing at the water table in the light house history section.

Generating electricity:

Colouring a sea monster mask. It was a bit frightening because they were looking at a huge sea monster!! K was afraid it would 'snap at her'.

This is what they were looking at:

The other motorized sea monsters:

Kids had a nice time, but most of it was way over their heads and they just weren't interested. Would be great some day to take them to a science center or a kids museum!!
